Laser hair removal treatments are spaced according to your hair’s natural growth phases. In most cases, we will schedule your treatments 4-6 weeks apart for face and neck and 6-8 weeks apart for hair removal below the neck. Because hair falls out at the root, laser hair removal is a much longer-lasting alternative to shaving. Most patients see the majority of hair loss immediately following their initial appointment. However, it can take up to 2-weeks for residual hairs to die off.
You may need anywhere from 5-8 treatment sessions to achieve your ideal results. Once your series of treatments is complete, you can expect to remain virtually hair-free. Some clients may experience a slight amount of sparse regrowth a year or two after completion of a treatment series. In this instance, a touch up treatment may be needed once a year to maintain results. Hairs that have been damaged with laser treatments typically do not grow back, although regrowth is possible.
Hair does not grow back slower after laser hair removal. However, you will have fewer noticeable follicles with each consecutive growth phase.
