What Is Bellafill?
Bellafill is an FDA-approved anti-aging injection that uses a different kind of collagen material to help add immediate lift to facial areas suffering from volume loss. Unlike other dermal fillers, Bellafill’s main ingredient – a microspheric collagen – is not reabsorbed by the body and remains for a longer period of time. How Does It Work?
Other dermal fillers are designed to be reabsorbed back into the body over a period of about a year or so. Bellafill is different because it contains a special type of collagen that isn’t reabsorbed. Bellafill has also been proven successful in treating patients with acne scars.

Is It Painful?*
Bellafill contains lidocaine, a numbing agent, which provides a level of comfort to patients who are typically sensitive to injections. Additionally, your Derma Tech specialist may use a topical cream or ice to further numb the injection site. Side effects may be mildly uncomfortable; some patients may experience slight bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the injection site.
Am I A Good Candidate For Bellafill?
You’re a good candidate for Bellafill injections if you have deep smile lines or nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth. You may also benefit from Bellafill injections if you have acne scars. Results are immediate and last for a significant period of time (up to five years in some cases).
